Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary is a holy day of obligation

December 8

This week, we celebrate the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

On Dec. 8, we celebrate the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

The Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception centers on the belief that Jesus’ mother, the Virgin Mary, was conceived without sin.

It is a holy day of obligation, which means it is a day when we are obligated to attend Mass.

Masses at St. Bernard are at 8 a.m. in English, and 7 p.m. in Spanish.

All are welcome.
