33rd Sunday in Ordinary Time
Sunday, November 19, 2017
By Father Falaniko Atonio

“Giving your hand for those who really need help is one of those talents that God gave to us; sharing is loving,” Father Falaniko Atonio, associate pastor of Incarnation Catholic Church in Glendale, tells us in his homily for the 33rd Sunday in Ordinary Time. “Continue to pray, as we come to the end of this liturgical year, that may the use of all the talents that we receive not only enable us to develop the kingdom of God here in this parish, but to prepare us to enter deeply into the light of Christ where he invites us today.”

32nd Sunday in Ordinary Time
Sunday, November 12, 2017
By Father Perry D. Leiker, pastor

“Even though you can’t say exactly that wisdom is God, somehow in wisdom you’ll always find God,” Father Perry tells us in his homily for the 32nd Sunday in Ordinary Time. “If you seek wisdom, you’re going to seek and find God in your life. Wisdom is the very presence of God. Are we really living our lives — living this day, living this hour right here — open to wisdom, open to God? Because if that’s what we do, Jesus guarantees us that the kingdom of God will indeed be alive within us.”
