“When we get this gift of gratitude, not only for the good things given to us, I think it’s fair to say, we can feel gratitude for the negative in our life,” Father Perry tells us for our annual Thanksgiving Day Mass. “And this is when gratitude becomes an enormous gift. … But when pain and struggle come, when sin enters our life, it gives us different gifts. Dar gracias es ser mas unido con Dios que podemos, porque esta viviendo en bondad. Dar gracias, recibir gracias, expresar gratitude es viviendo en Dios.”
