UPDATED GUIDELINES RELEASED FOR L.A. CATHOLIC CHURCHES TO REOPEN
As certain restrictions have been lifted and others re-imposed, all parishes and pastors are to implement the new guidelines with prudence, following public health precautions, and with the safety and wellbeing of their parishioners in mind.
ST. BERNARD UPDATED PROTOCOLS FOR OPENING
With the assistance of staff and volunteers, we will: 1.) S̶a̶n̶i̶t̶i̶z̶e̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶h̶a̶n̶d̶s̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶a̶l̶l̶ ̶w̶h̶o̶ ̶e̶n̶t̶e̶r̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶c̶h̶u̶r̶c̶h̶. 2.) Guarantee proper distancing. 3.) Enforce the wearing of masks by everyone over 2 years of age. 4.) A̶s̶k̶ ̶i̶f̶ ̶a̶n̶y̶o̶n̶e̶ ̶i̶n̶ ̶y̶o̶u̶r̶ ̶p̶a̶r̶t̶y̶ ̶i̶s̶ ̶s̶i̶c̶k̶ ̶o̶r̶ ̶h̶a̶s̶ ̶a̶n̶y̶ ̶s̶i̶g̶n̶s̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶i̶l̶l̶n̶e̶s̶s̶. 5.) P̶r̶o̶p̶e̶r̶l̶y̶ ̶s̶a̶n̶i̶t̶i̶z̶e̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶c̶h̶u̶r̶c̶h̶ ̶a̶f̶t̶e̶r̶ ̶e̶a̶c̶h̶ ̶M̶a̶s̶s̶. 6.) Provide hand sanitizer at each of the entrances to the church.

If you cannot make it to Mass, or decide not to join us, the community is encouraged to continue to pray at home with their families and join to the sacrifice of the Mass by making an act of spiritual communion. We will continue to post each day’s Mass intention on our Facebook and Twitter feeds, so that you may continue to pray for those named.
