“So then you are no longer strangers and sojourners, but you are fellow citizens with the holy ones.”
Wow! Jesus the Christ has changed all and everyone, and forever.
And Luke says it most profoundly. The master of the house returns from a wedding and finds his servants waiting and ready to wait upon him; instead, he the master tells them the servants to sit down, and he waits upon them. Wow!
Isn’t that exactly what Jesus has done for us? He gives us himself as our food and our drink, and he waits upon us.
