You shall love your neighbor as yourself.

Jesus invites us into the life of heaven here and now

Even though there was an attempt on the life of Barnabas and Paul, they kept on preaching!
And the cures and healings did not stop either.
But then, the confusion began. The crowds called Barnabas “Zeus,” and Paul “Hermes.” Yikes!
Barnabas and Paul rushed the crowds, and shouted —
“Men, why are you doing this?”
But they could not deter the crowds who were gravely mistaken. They missed the point. They missed the message. The crowds continued to offer sacrifices to them, as if Paul and Barnabas were gods. Yikes, again!
Jesus said it most clearly and definitively —
“Whoever loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and reveal myself to him.”
And
“My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our dwelling with him.”
Again, in keeping Jesus’ words, commands, and living in Jesus and walking with him, Jesus is describing a life of faith, and a life of love.
Jesus is inviting us into the life of heaven here and now, and forever!
Are you ready?
