How important the mouth is for preaching, the ears for hearing, the heart and mind for believing and cherishing the word — and that process gets repeated and repeated and repeated from one person to the next.

The future comes through Jesus to be fulfilled
This presentation or consecration also seemed to open the door and align this child with God in a way that the future was to come through him to be fulfilled, and bring about promises of old while creating something new.
